My full time assignment is with the Luxembourg National Data Service (LNDS) where I act as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). I assume part time assignments in the board of ELIXIR (European research infrastructure for bioinformatics), the board of Gaia-X (Association for data and cloud) and I act as the President of the Digital Health Commons Forum (DHCF).

Before, I worked for Philips during 26 years, in various roles serving the healthcare informatics businesses. In the final years, I explored the various European health data space initiatives, to improve health data sharing for primary care delivery as well as for secondary use and research. This was an important enabler for the Philips Data & AI strategy.

At LNDS I broaden my scope to data sharing in all the domains of the public sector. Next to health data we also explore data and AI applications in socio-economic, energy, environment, mobility, skills, agriculture and many other domains.
